RVJ's philosophy is simple: Equity is not just a goal—it’s a way of being.

Our Story

RVJ, Reimagined Visions for Justice, grew out of the belief justice could be fostered in every day interactions. Rachel decided to honor her namesake (RVJ) by creating a community dedicated to equity and justice. Rachel's coaching and consulting has taken various forms over the years. She is excited to facilitate micro-communities that center care and accountability. Any RVJ service enhances your understanding of self, intersectionality, power and community. By creating sustainable, healing-centered spaces, RVJ is dedicated to providing top notch consulting that enhances personal, organizational, and collective growth.

About Me

My name is Rachel V. Jones

For over ten years, Rachel has been a social justice advocate within non-profit and educational organizations. Rachel is a DEI strategist, leadership coach and equity centered thoughtleader who is committed to helping individuals and organizations move beyond performative allyship. She takes a relational approach to working with clients and fostering brave spaces to learn about anti-oppression and equity practices. Through Rachel's passion for creating sustainable, healing-centered spaces, she helps individuals confront their internalized oppression so that they can be an inclusive changemaker. Her approach is rooted in community care, boundary-setting, and radical self-honoring. Everyone Rachel works with feels affirmed, empowered, and equipped to intetnionally lead.

Rachel firmly believes we can truly co-create anti-racist, anti-oppressive, and liberatory connections and institutions. Her work is deeply rooted in liberation theology, womanist principles, and values-driven leadership. The goal is to ensure that equity is not just a box to check, but a transformational process that centers dignity, accountability, and systemic change.

As a writer and speaker, she also engages audiences in robust conversations and dialogue about race and power—challenging norms and providing practical tools . Rachel's trainings explore these themes further, providing both a roadmap for change and a deeply personal reflection on liberation. She hopes people can integrate lessons from her work into their daily lives.

Rachel is a proud DMV native. She graduated from Fordham University with a degree in American Studies and considers NYC her second home. In her free time, she claims joy through cooking, exploring new cities, caring for her plants and connecting with friends and being an auntie.
